Maybe I was a little harsh but normally these comments are just by people trolling about GCSEs.

    Re: Results day. Some questions...
    1. What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting it over with and (hopefully) enjoying the last couple of weeks of summer

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?
The drive up only takes 5 minutes for me so it shouldn't be too bad, I'd probably say the day/ night before when it's all I'll be thinking about. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to sleep

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?

My friends are normally great and supportive so I'd say my RE teacher who I'm really close with and don't want to let down

    4. Where will you open your results?

I could never open my results with anyone else, I always have to do it alone.

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?

A few A's in any subjects, mostly B's and a couple of C's

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?
English literature (anyone who did the Crucible will know what I'm talking about)

    Re: Results day. Some questions...
Ok so I just realised this thread was for GCSEs. Well I'm just gonna reply anyway!

    1. What are you looking forward to the most?

Finding out whether I've got into KCL or not. I just have to KNOW!

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?

I'll be opening mine online, so waiting for the page to load...

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?

One of my best friends. We're both hoping to go to the same uni so it's gonna be so sad if one of us doesn't get in!
Also my maths teacher. I got a D last year and needed an A so persuaded them to let me do AS year again at the same time as A2. They agreed and my maths teacher has helped and supported me so much, so if I haven't got an A I'll feel like I've let her down as much as I've let myself down.

    4. Where will you open your results?

In my bed, ready to sneak back under the covers for eternity if I don't get what I'm hoping for.

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?

Really.. AAA. I'd be happy with less than that if King's still accepted me though. I'm not so bothered about the grades I get, I just really really want to go there!

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?

    All of them.

To know If that work I did, is efficient and will make me feel impressed about my results, or I worked hard in the wrong direction

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?

In our school, the results are shown in papers on the school walls, so IT'S PUBLIC and everyone can see it, So when people know what I did, it's awkward!

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?
MY PARENTS! THEY'LL NEVER EXPECT LESS THAN THE BEST AND THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND THAT I'M NOT THAT SMART

    4. Where will you open your results?
    Public in the school :/

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?

    Re: Results day. Some questions...
    1. What are you looking forward to the most?
To find out what my results are so the butterflies in my stomach will stop flying
And for the curiosity to finally disappear.

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?

I think the worst for me will be when I have the envelope in my hand and I'm going to be shaking or if I haven't got a specific grade in one of my subjects but hopefully that won't happen. Or if I fail a subject miserably..again hopefully won't happen.

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?

My parents hands down. And probably teachers if i havent done well in a specific subject. As a year 11 student i was a lot more of a proactive student than any of my close friends so I don't really have a fear my friends have done better than me in any subject..

    4. Where will you open your results?

I actually think I might just get my friend to open my envelope and I will open hers. Once she tells me how great my results her i'll snatch it off her. Hehe. I did something like that when it came to my year 10 results. That or I'll just suck it up and open it myself but this will be done while I'm in school with my friends.

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?

I mainly plan on getting Bs and a few As and maybe a couples of Cs but I will be disappointed if I don't get the grades I've thought of for each of my subjects, if I do better than them then Woop Woop.

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?

English literature and language and probably history and maybe science. Not to sound big headed but I hope I've done well in them and I probably have but I hope I get the exact grades I want for them and not lower.

The good thing for me is that I have Eid to celebrate three days before I get my results so I can have my mind off the worry off my results until like two days before I find my results and I'm definitely going with my friends and not my dad.

A lot of people are fussing about telling their teachers, which is understandable if they hadn't already seen the results. Teachers get a class list of results at least a few hours before you get your results, normally as much as a day or two in advance of "results day."

    Re: Results day. Some questions...
I know it's years since my GCSE results day but I'll answer as I would have done if I'd answered then, as I can remember it as if it was yesterday.

    1. What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting it over with. I had an afternoon planned with my friends afterwards, plus I'd been bribed by my parents to revise with the promise of a reward so I was looking forward to that as well.

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?
The bit where you're queueing up for your results, and just keep going through possibilities in your head. Like you might have aced it, or you might have failed everything.

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?
I was scared of telling my results to one of my best friends, because she always gets higher grades than me in everything and brags about it. I remember that actually on my results day I was right to worry, because she got an A* in physics, I got an A, and she spent a lot of time telling me if I'd attending revision classes I could have got an A*. I was very pleased with my A.

    4. Where will you open your results?
I opened mine with my group of friends.

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?
I got my head around getting B grades for everything, as that's what I needed for college and what I thought I was capable of. I ended up with A*A*AAAABBBBB so I was pleased with that.

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?
I was dreading biology as I'd struggled, and had gained E grades for most of my work by my tutor. I self taught a lot of the syllabus as I didn't understand the way I was being taught for some reason, and I ended up with a B which I was thrilled with.

    1. What are you looking forward to the most?

    - Not having to worry about results any more

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?

    - Just before opening the envelope

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?

    - Myself I guess; though my parents probably as well

    4. Where will you open your results?

    - Probably at home, though my old head teacher (I'm leaving so he's now technically my 'old' head teacher) is a **** and usually wants students to open their results at school somewhere

    5. What is the minimum grades which would please you?

    - 6A*s and 8As, though the majority (if not all!) as A*s would be most pleasing indeed!

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?

    - History, as it's the subject I want to do a degree in, so I have to have done well... I just feel like I've probably got just below what I want Still, I'm quite worried about all of my results, unfortunately.

    Re: Results day. Some questions...
    1. What are you looking forward to the most?
The atmosphere on TSR in the run up to the day and before I get my results. And hopefully my dad being proud of me if my results are good.

    2. What is going to be the worst part of results day?
TSR after I've got my results. And seeing where my friends have done better than me.

    3. Who are you most afraid of telling your results to?
My friends. I have one friend who doesn't know the meaning of sensitivity, so she'll rub it in if she's done better than me.

    4. Where will you open your results?
Probably in the hall, although I don't want to.

    5. What is the 'minimum' grades which would please you?
I have a bad habit of not accepting anything but the best, but I'd be happy with a B in Geography since I've been getting Es in my mocks.

    6. What subject(s) are you dreading getting the results for?
Maths. I messed up on the last exam and I'm sure I won't get an A*, so I'm dreading my reaction to Maths. English also, which I royally screwed up.

Gosh...am I the only person who looks at their results online?? When I do that, it's funny how close everyone feels as they wait the last minute in suspense, refreshing the page continuously.
I can't believe we have less than a month left!
