Anyone know if the R.A.F have like a student branch type thing at Aberdeen uni?

I think they might, but I really can't be sure. I do know that there is definitely an Army OTC at Aberdeen Uni so I guess if you can't find the information you're for looking in regards to an RAF branch it might be a good idea to contact them as someone there will more than likely know.

Yeah there is, its ESUAS and its includes Aberdeen, Dundee and St Andrews uni's. I was in UGSAS which is the Glasgow one but I had to leave since I'm coming to Aberdeen uni this year.

This might be a silly question, but how fit do you have to be to join? I've wanted to join the RAF since I was a little girl, haha, but I injured my back quite badly at karate in March and I'm a bit concerned that I'm not fit enough again to join yet.

I am not the fittest guy and I got in before, but you have to have decent fitness to be able to join. When I was in it we were carrying fully loaded backpacks across mountainous terrain etc. If you could do that with your back then I would say your fit enough
