Postgrad study in USA - help!
Okay, so I haven't actually started my undergrad studies yet, but I've been thinking ahead and I would possibly like to do some postgrad work abroad. I have offers from York, Durham, St Andrew's and UCL and am currently choosing between Durham and UCL...
Thing is, I really love Durham and everything but obviously UCL would be much more useful to me if I were to apply to a US university later on! Any advice?

While Durham isn't very well known in the US, I'm betting admissions counselors know it even though the average man on the street won't. What they look for in postgrad isn't just the rep of the uni-- it's also the quality of your experience. Go to Durham, excel, pursue your interests, and you should be fine when it's time to apply for postgrad.
