i was wondering if this is average or below average for ks3.

and i was wondering what other people got. so feel free to fill below

I think I got 8 in maths then either 7s or 8s in English or Science.

But yours sound above average. I seem to remember average being six-low seven. But I could be completely wrong.

Science:7
Maths:8
English:5
back when they were still called SATS

Are you sure you're talking about KS3? and not 2? KS3 is yr9.

KS3 pssssh, don't really matter, aslong as you switch it up at gcse and then A-Level.

The average is a 5a (a high 5) which should lead to a C/D at GCSE

Maths : 7 (A at GCSE)
Science : 6 (B at GCSE)
English : 5 (B at GCSE)

but they don't matter to be honest.

The CGP used to refer to the SAT tests as the 'silly assessment tests' and rightly so.

Yours are actually slightly above average, average being 6's
I got at the end of ks3
Maths: 8
Science: 7

Back when I did it (2007) I'm sure the average nationwide was 5's

Average is about 6,6,6 I'll say
I'm being serious, so you're above average overall, unless you start taking into account the sub levels of a, b and c

I got 8,6,6. considering I'm taking Mathematics at Uni, you can probably make a good estimation of which subject my level 8 was in.
