I'm not white, but I was born here and have since been integrated from birth (with my parents being first-generation immigrants in the 70s and subsequently becoming British citizens).

But even now I'm saying that immigration should be halted. I'm not being hypocritical (I was born here, I never emigrated from a distant part of the world - my parents did) - I'm merely quite worried for the future. In these times, we have many immigrants coming here who are not much benefit to society and subsequently create their own mini-societies similar to the ones they came from - in short, horrible ghettoes.

As a result of immigration, there is the second-greatest enemy (if not the worst) - Islam. It doesn't matter how much many law-abiding Muslims call it 'peaceful' - Islam is a threat to this country (to the world, in fact - even more so than Christianity). It's even doing some great damage to America (not to mention that silly mosque being built on the 9/11 site).

I believe that many non-whites who were born here and solidly integrated may share this view, but for fear of being called 'traitors' or some other silly thing, may not voice their opinions.

Well, I intend to finish uni and make my way into Parliament and call for a very, very strict immigration cap amongst other things. Thank goodness I was born here - for I wasn't born here in order to see this country turn into one where gunfire erupts every night or bombs go off every other day or mosques line towns and cities or lawlessness is rife.

Now, I'm not saying all immigration is bad. Of course not. But right now, the type of mass immigration we're seeing is bad for the country and future - it's not as if we're seeing mass immigration of exceptional doctors, lawyers, engineers and whatnot. Such immigration was seen after the second-world war and in those subsequent centuries.

And all of this multicultural madness is further annoying - and I don't even know what it is. What is multiculturalism even?

Who here agrees with me?

P.S. I didn't want to derail the thread by mentioning Islam - my talk of Islam only came by chance and should not be greatly central to the discussion. The main issue here is mass immigration.

EDIT: Really, I will clarify my position and go further and say that the great harm of mass immigration is the large influx of poor immigrants. To be sure, they indeed are the problem. Therefore, it is not mass immigration per se, but actually large numbers of poor immigrants entering the country. This is a problem. Couple it with the aggressive expansion of Islam and Britain has a problem (a greatly increasing one).

For all of those 'indigenous' Brits who keep moaning about cultural genocide and 'white flight' and all of that nonsense - quit moaning and do something about it. Vote BNP if you really want something done (I certainly wouldn't vote them - they seem to indicate a desire to have all non-white Britons out of the country, which includes me!).

Even if you stopped the immigration they can still reproduce to become a greater proportion of the UK like any other immigrant group.

In fact, I don't hate 'foreigners' and I wouldn't count myself as a 'foreigner'. You shouldn't jump to conclusion. I am merely concerned with the mass immigration and how the lack of action to strop it is fuelling negative racial views and relations. Once again, I'm not Christian. I don't hate Muslims - but I am weary of Muslims. Its potential to encourage extremism is greater than christianity's potential. An example is Stallone's son's funeral. That 'extremist' baptist church would be staging protests and generally causing an insensitive nuisance. Their Islamic equivalents would have provoked a city-wide terror alert, if not conducted a full-scale attack.
