The Student Room Group

Do teachers/tutors find out when their students are offered/accept university place?

. . . or can they only find out if the student personally tells them?

They aren't notified. They only know if you tell them.

My dad is a teacher at my school, he only gets to find out the results of people doing his subject, sent from the head of department (but only that subject). So no. But as I'm getting my results he is coming with me so will probably find out from people when they get their results. So no they don't, but your personal tutor and heads of department are supposed to be there (at most schools anyway). Eventually the teachers can access the whole of the results but won't know if that means you got in or not unless notified by senior staff who have that information from UCAS.
