Sleeping is ****!
Personally I HATE sleeping
!
When it comes to around this time in weekends I get some weird feeling knowing I'll either have to go sleep soon, or go sleep late but then waking up late
and for some reason, not sure why, I just don't like doing it!
Never have as a kid, when was around 6, I was on sleeping tablets because i couldn't sleep, I still can't now, ONLY when I'm mega tired at around 5am and then i wake up like 11 or 12 and I hate waking up that late
On exam days i literally cannot sleep! It annoys me and worries me because its too early, and on normal school days over the years I've trained myself to sleep only 4-6 hours, but i force myself to sleep over 8 on exam days just so i don't mess up the exam
what can I do about this 'weird' feeling when it comes the time to go sleep its like some semi-adrenaline-weird-scared-type-of-feeling :/ and not sure what to do about it!
And for sleeping tips I've tried everything! Camomile tea, hot chocolate, hot baths, and every other tip of every website I've been on, nothing works
I was wondering if anyone has used Melatonin and if this is bad for before an exam day?
Please try answer some questions and sorry about the rant and that stupid made up word :P
Thanks

Re: Sleeping is SH*T!
How's your sleep hygiene? e.g. Warm baths and so on can help, but not if the first thing you do afterwards is stick a bright television/laptop/smartphone screen in front of your eyes. Maybe obvious, but I also find it much easier to sleep when I want to if I've actually done something during the day, even if it's not strenuous.

After doing all the things e.g. Warm baths or camomile tea, I usually listen to calming music or straight try to go sleep or read a book or something, never watch TV or anything, however sometimes go on my phone that's usually for the music
and days are usually active -

Yeah, **** trying to get to sleep. if you have to make a conscious effort to try and sleep then it's not gonna happen. I just stay up until I can't keep my eyes open any longer, or if I have weed, weed makes me get to sleep easily. -

Then masturbate, same result
(Original post by ForgettingWhatsername)
Masturbation works like a charm every time.
I've tried it, but doesn't help on exam days as I'm usually going to sleep earlier than everyone else and my brothers usually on the computer at the time thats in the same room
and he doesn't make noise so thats not a distraction -
Re: Sleeping is SH*T!Maybe you could ask your gp for a prescription for sleeping pills just for exam time? At least that way you'd be fresh for your exams, and if you only take them on those occasions you wouldn't get addicted or anything.(Original post by Anonymous)
