My ex-girlfriend was Ukrainian, I have dated Romanians and Russians, I have multiple Eastern European friends... don't tell me I have not experienced any other Eastern Europeans!

The only way we can stop immigration from Eastern Europe is from leaving the European Union. Unfortunately despite Cameron's "noises", nobody apart from Ukip, have the sack to leave the EU.

Not just friends... I have met many on nights out and when I visit Eastern Europe... they are (in general) friendly, bubbly, open people... obviously as with the UK, France or anywhere else in the world you get some that are the opposite but my experiences have been positive.

Apart from the recent influx of Somali and Afghan people, most 'non-white' immigration was encouraged by the government in the 50's and 60's from Britain's former colonies in the Carribean and South East Asia. This was to make up the workforce which was lost in the wars. Don't know if I can say the same for Eastern European immigration

Out of all the immigration issues, I'd have thought Eastern European/Polish should be the last one we clamp down on given how Polish people generally integrate better. Take Swindon for example. It had a flourishing Polish community after the second world war. No longer exists because it integrated into the English community. I doubt they didn't contribute anything to the resulting English community, but because of the similarities between people, there's generally no hatred for them. No, I don't mean skin colour, but culture.

I don't understand what people mean by 'multiculturalism is great'. What do you mean? Apart from saying 'oh look how far we've come' nonsense I don't see any reason. No, I don't hate Africans and Asians, I hate it when people are obsessed over 'differences' and 'being different'. I'm not talking about that I think everyone should be the same, I'm talking about everyone being obsessed with different groups, as opposed to different individuals. Essentially, different nations within ours. Such as Asian areas, black areas etc. I mean, what the hell? England is supposed to be and English area. Yes, you can be non-English in England but I don't see the point in being non-English and in a non-English area of England. It's just madness.

Also, I have non-white friends and mixed raced family, which is a result of individuals seeing similarities in other individuals' personality, not because they are different. But because they are similar. And I dislike multiculturalism because it focuses on differences.

Also I don't see Indian restaurants in England as multicultural. It's globalisation.
