Another thing which I find weird is, when I’m in the company of others, I wonder if they could read my thoughts. The more I wonder, the more inappropriate my thoughts become, so I distract myself by singing a song in my head.
Also, laughing out loud, just because I'm happy and it's a nice day. Or I remember something funny. -

I avoid looking into reflective surfaces in public places because I don't wanna be caught checking myself out.
I set my Facebook and MSN Messenger to 'Offline' mode despite being on them all day to make it seem like I have a life. Sometimes if I'm talking to someone I'll tell them I have to go and then just switch to offline mode for the same reasons. -

Re: Weird stuff you do (and wonder if other people do it too)When I'm watching TV, if a character pulls a weird face, for whatever reason, I instinctively try and match it without really realising it at the time. Which makes watching TV with people awkward as ****.

I also sing a lot... I don't mean getting up and doing karaoke every week, I mean I answer people in song, I sing my thoughts etc. My parents have taken to saying I'm like Zooey Deschanel's character from New Girl in that and most other aspects of life

If I'm in even just a slightly nervous/ scary situation, I'll imagine a disaster happening and me being the hero. For example, in the car, if dad is driving fast and a bit dangerously, I'd go through my head what I'd do if we crashed and I was the only one conscious or whatever. Cos of this, I always look at the sat nav/ road signs, so if I have to call the emergency services, I can tell them exactly where I am. I've grown out of this slightly though.
I'd also do this thing with my breathing on car journeys. I might use houses or sign posts or lamp posts etc (something common) and breath in at the first one and then start breathing out at the second, then breath in again at the third and so on. Or do something similar, usually with buildings, where i'd breath in if we were going past a building, then out again when we're going past their garden or a field or whatever.
As you can imagine, I go on a lot of long car journeys with a bit of a wreckless driver.
Someone also mentioned locking the door quickly, once you're inside. I do this a lot with the bathroom.
If I do something such as feeling my teeth with my tongue. I then get a bit wierd and have to run my tongue the other way. I usually then do the same two again, but in the opposite order to the first time! I like the number 4, ok. So sometimes I then have to do the one way then the other as one thing, so I do both ways 4 times!Last edited by Clare~Bear; 19-07-2012 at 21:17. -

If someone has a different accent to me I'll end up mimicking them ever so slightly without noticing. I can't go on holiday for more than a week without copying the accent accidentally. I'll go back to Bham during the holidays and come back south talking like a complete Brummie.
That or I'll slip into some silly voice during a debate with someone. Annoys my brothers as they don't think I'm taking them seriously.
I got seriously weird looks from my tute partner once when I went into a dodgy Sean Connery impression when being taught by my Scottish tutor

I actually do this sometimes haaaaaaaha.
I sometimes talk to myself, having totally strange conversation with someone in a hypothetical situation that won't ever happen.. but then as soon as I realise that I'm doing this it becomes really weird and awkward.

Then I start thinking how I'd lead this double life where to my friends and family I'm just this normal girl, then to everyone else I'm this faceless rich powerful person
