What shoe size do you wear, and how long are your feet in cm?

What shoe size do you wear, and how long are your feet in cm?I've always worn size 4-5, but not had my feet measured since I was about 10.
I was ordering some shoes online and wanted to make extra sure I got the right size so I decided to measure my feet and look up sizes. My feet are just under 22cm, which according to Next, Nike and Wikipedia should be size 1-2.
So either I've been wearing shoes which are way too big for years, or these websites are all wrong. If anyone (especially people wearing sizes 1-5) fancies measuring their feet and posting their findings I'd be interested to see how my feet compare! -

I tend to pick 5 for everyday flats, trainers etc etc. I pick 4 for heels; they stay on more easily and my feet don't look like an infant's trying on their mother's shoes.
... I've just realised that the above hasn't made any sort of valuable contribution to the thread, since measuring is the whole point. I'm just under 22cm too, if that helps.Last edited by malvika111; 19-07-2012 at 02:04. -

And in climbing shoes im a size MENS 8 so effectivally a womans size 9. Come to the conclusion i have abnormally large feet for my height.
You know your foots the same length as your forearm so thats a good way to judge too.
No way could i be like a size 2/3
I struggle badly to get my feet into a SIX!

However typically its the same length as your forearm.
At least mine is. Or i have big feet

I wear size 1 shoes. My feet are 18cm.
Next says that falls inbetween a size 11 and 12...child size
That can't be right, surely? Dear God, somebody console me

Last night I measured the inside of my trainers (size 4) and the bit where you put your foot is 24 cm. Which suggests to me that the websites I looked at are confusing foot length with shoe length. (ie this one, which tells me I'm a size 3). -
