    Dying my brown hair black!!
i have boring pin straight virgin hair. i dont even have a fringe because i have a cowlick
anyway i want to dye it jet black by using a semi-permanant dye
i have dark brown hair, but it gradually gets lighter and has some light highlights??
any tips? and would the dye be REALLY noticable?
i want a bluish tint to it but someone said as it fades it gets greyish and ugly...
i am a begginer so what brand should i get??

It won't go jet black with a semi-permanent dye I don't think, but this shouldn't be a problem if you use a blue dye over the top, as this will take out any red undertones so it'll look black.
Go a dark brown semi-perm colour, and then dye over it with a blue vegetable based dye (Directions, Crazy Colour, Stargazer).
Whatever you do, don't dye it permanently black before knowing you like it semi perm, or you'll regret it for years. I did this in my teenage years, was awful. Thankfully semi-permanent colour is much better now.
    I recommend these:

The blue-black dyes you can buy do fade horribly in my experience.
