Re: Sussex Uni Grade QuestionWhen I went to the talk they made it sound like they'd be pretty lenient. They went on about how they'd much prefer to accept people that firmed their offer and didn't get the grades over people that only accepted them as an insurance.(Original post by DanielMartin)
How lenient are sussex uni in terms of grades?
The course I wish to do is AAB, but realistically I might end up with ABB but with a good personal statement am I likely to receive an offer?
The course is philosophy,
Anyway, it doesn't really matter now - just wait and see! Good luck. -
Re: Sussex Uni Grade Question
well, I'm doing the IB, and a friend of mine who got accepted by sussex got 34 points rather than 35 points. And generally speaking, British universities are rather anal when it comes to how many IB points you get. As long as your personal statement is good, then there shouldn't be too many issues.

Re: Sussex Uni Grade QuestionI needed an equivilant to an AAB but got and ABB (french exams btw) and they accepted me. So you should be okay if your PS is good I guess.(Original post by DanielMartin)
