    A Level Physics Book????
Hello everyone, I'm a private physics candidate and I need help finding a good physics book(s) for myAQA exams in Jan & June 2013. I followed a thread on a forum here and book a good Maths book that I love by content and depth coverage.
I'm hoping someone could suggest a good book they've used/using to help me.
    Thanks everyone

    Hi there,

I was a private candidate and did the same exam board. the AQA endorsed book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-Physics-...072088&sr=8-12 (AS level, there's also an A2 book) is okay and will give you a good overview of the course. I highly recommend this book though: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collins-Adva...3072144&sr=8-1 as it covers everything you need for the AQA course (and more besides). Plus things are well set out and clear.

I would recommend trying to get a basic undergraduate text in addition. It will certainly be above your level, but it is nice to be able to read through a chapter or two if you would like a little more depth on the subject. The Feynman Lectures on Physics are well written and Feynman has a very intuitive way of explaining things, though there are no exercises in the printed books. Physics by Halliday and Resnick is also highly rated though I have not read much from it.
