Re: University of Nottingham freshers accomodation
My friend just applied for accomodation after deciding to transfer from Trent to Nottingham Uni, and it's just a 'what's left' type of arrangment now.
You'll either be given what is left, or put on a waiting list for when spaces open up after results.
Bit late to be applying for accomodation though mate. -
Re: University of Nottingham freshers accomodation
As other posters said lots will be taken up: all the catered accommodation on campus will be. You'll probably be put in self-catered accommodation that's about half an hour's walk away, for example near the jubilee campus. But have a look on their website for more info.

Re: University of Nottingham freshers accomodationWell, now that you've Firmed/Insured them, you don't really have a choice. You can possibly change them, but you would need agreement from the Insurance choice to make it a Firm and your Firm would need to say they'd be willing for you to make it Insurance, but then you have to think how that will look if you don't get into your new Firm on results day..(Original post by HR4LYF)
Hi the truth is I am in a dilemma. My firm choice is the uni of warwick for management and nottingham managament as insurance I am just confused as to which one to go to but social life is an important factor to me when going to uni.
If you mean social life accommodation-wise, I'd say all the catered halls have about the same awesome social life - they all have keen JCR committees and a lot of events are run centrally by the SU so everyone can get involved
