I prefer buying my T-shirts from lessser known places. Nothing worse than having a t-shirt that loads of people are wearing.
Screw the high street big boys -

Any examples?
"please tell me what I should wear to be original" -
Re: Absolute clothes and fashion virgin. Male. Really need help pleaseI wanted examples of lesser known brands. If I don't know any brands in the first place, how do I know which brands are well known and lesser known. I used to think that A&F was "lesser known" because there's only one shop in the UK.(Original post by py0alb)

Re: Absolute clothes and fashion virgin. Male. Really need help pleaseJust forget brands altogether. Just look for items that don't have branding on them, and judge them by the fabric, the cut, the style and the colour. If you think its good value, buy it. There is no need to look at the label at any point.(Original post by claret_n_blue)

I would say don't overdress (formally and casually), alot of people wear clothes to make a statement about themselves but you don't really wanna do that....
If you need guidance which you probably do judging by the title maybe look at some celebrities around your age and how they dress, don't obviously copy the look word for word (and in some cases, just don't even - Celebs can dress like idiots), again it's just to give you an idea of how to dress, and what's "in fashion". Of course you don't have to follow fashion by all means but if you have no idea then it's probably a good place to start.
Brands. Don't have a closet full of Hollister/A&F clothes please. They are nice and it wouldn't hurt to have a few but they're so expensive and I can't quite help but have an opinion about people who prance around in those all day every day.
Hope it helps!
