I agree with you. That would be so much better. Or if we could have the perfect gf/bf robot who could be tailored to what we desire in a partner. Then we can just rely on robots not humans.
I have an imaginary gf as well
How many times have you watched Artificial Intelligence, I wonder? Although actually Jude Law's character in that in somewhat scary to me.

    Also, what's her name?

Why dont you go to a gay pride rally or some official gay events? your bound to find someone there. But your probs best off waiting til uni, im sure they have a gay society for you to meet people.
My parents don't let me go to them, even though I'm 18. I guess I'll have to wait the 2 months and go to uni to get freedom like that.

A guy can get away without being attractive. Women cannot at any circumstance.

I'm not being hard on myself, I'm being honest.
I remember the conversations we used to have. I closed my old account last year and made a new one Just keep looking forward. I did and it worked out better for me.

No, it's justified. Sherlock Holmes is brilliant. In all cases. Although it's slightly awkward when they announce they're going to make an erotic version of the Sherlock books... Because that's in character. But yeah, Sherlock Holmes is a great role model. Well, except for the opium addiction.
really?? I've only ever seen the fanfiction. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would roll in his grave.

he is brilliant. he's the perfect human being in my eyes. except for the drugs of course. but even then he has enough sense not to become an addict.

If you're that desperate, you might as well just go the library closest to Cambridge maths department. I'm sure plenty there would jump at the chance no matter what you look like.
    Please.

So you parents let you go to a gay mans bath house but not a gay pride rally or something legitimate and clean? mm makes sense.

And if your going to say what i think you are (you dont tell them you go to the bath houses) then just dont tell them your going to the rally and say your going for a sleep over or something

I'm 18 and I really should have a boyfriend right now, but I don't. 99% of songs I listen to are about love, so music depresses me! How do you deal with not having a boyfriend or girlfriend?
The thoughts of how much money I save and how little aggravation I get. Going to hopefully find someone awesome at uni but don't mind being single either Mates are good fun and as someone suggested a fleshlight might be a good buy

Lol I'm not allowed to go to sleepovers. I go to the bathhouses when my parents are at work. I wouldn't want to go to a rally by myself anyway; it seems like it's something people go to together. I know I could go to the rallies and say I'm going somewhere else, but as I said I don't think I could go by myself.

I decided ages ago I couldn't be bothered with a gf for various reasons but I still feel lonely sometimes, if the right girl comes along then I'm not going to push her away, but I've realised that giving in to loneliness and getting with the first girl (or guy in your case) who shows interest in you isn't a good idea and will probably make you feel worse in the long run, try and make a list in your head as to why it's better to be single anyway, that's what I do

I find it really easy to cope without having a boyfriend or girlfriend, and have never had one before. Maybe different people have different levels of difficulty in coping.

I lie in bed all day playing with my cats...

But on a serious note, I've never been in a relationship before so don't know what I'm missing out on. But that's okay because I enjoy being single. A lot of my friends have boyfriends/girlfriends and I don't feel any pressure to follow suit. I'm just waiting for Mr Right!

I really wish I could be more like Sherlock and not care about society's conventions and not have that human need for love and affection...and I really need to stop bringing Sherlock up in every post I make.
:five: I'm with you there, and the reference is relevant.

I think I've got better at not needing human affection recently Real people just seem to annoy me these days.

Oh yeah. With Watson. I was furious. Raged about it all of yesterday. It's completely wrong for Sherlock. Also, we know all the tension is with Moriarty.

He really is. I would give anything to meet him, if only he were real.

I've tried all the websites and they're all full of old men. I'm going to Brighton so it should be good for me there
