Become a Pharmacist with a Genetics degree?
I finished uni this year with a genetics degree and was contemplating becoming a pharmacist. However would I have to do another undergraduate degree for this to be possible or can I go straight to Masters degree. Any help appreciated.

This is my first post so please be nice!

You would have to do another pharmacy degree. They should have a fast track degree for science graduates. Quite unfair.

I was thinking this a few months ago. I think you have to do the undergraduate degree unfortunately. However, you could apply for entry into 2nd year in Strathclyde but no guarantees.

Can't imagine that it would be worth doing an entire new degree, building up all that debt (self funded, not the cosy low interest student debt) and using up another three years to become a pharmacist, considering you already have a degree and can begin looking for graduate employment now.
