T In the Park experiances
Hello guys

Really fancy T in the Park next year and was going to go this year, but unfortunately finances could not stretch haha so a few quick questions!
1)I have found out you can pay £25? for a wristband for something called refresh? Is it worth it i.e access to hair straightners, toilets relatively clean etc and are the toilets available all day and night in the campsite?
2) Using a bus package, does the coach drop you off right outside the venue and if they is, is the festival close to any sort of town which may have a supermarket to buy drinks and food etc (ovbiously if going by bus, will not be able to take too much with me).
3) How expensive is beer and food roughly
sounds like a lot of questions lol but I really need to start getting my budget sorted out

1) As you probably saw, this year was a total washout. There were times when I was tempted to go for a shower, but at £10 a time for entry, I chose to just stink. From what I've heard, the 'flushing toilets' were just as disgusting as the portaloos. As false eyelashes?! Last thin on my mind when i'm waist-deep in ****e!
2) The coach drops you in a fowl which is roughly 20 minutes walk from the campsite. The site is (quite literally) in the middle of nowhere, with only a couple of farms in the surrounding areas. If you wanted to visit a shop, you'd be better getting the train to Perth or another nearby town and then getting a Citylink bus to the festival site.
3) Food is expensive, but not ridiculously so. £4 for a hotdog £5 for sexy chips is what I ate all weekend. Apparently, some stalls will give you boiling water for 50p if you're feeling super-cheap and fancy a Pot Noodle. There's also things like Noodle and Burrito bars, but obviously the cost goes up as the food gets more adventurous. In the weather that we experienced, I just went for the hot food in the stall which was nearest.

seems as though you know a bit about the place lol been waiting for a reply! Glad to hear the food isn't too expensive, suppose it's only for a few days anyway!
Much appreciated, thank you

1. Refresh is defos worth it. Used the showers every morning which were fairly clean and warm. The refresh toilets were really good as well. I was relieved that I had refresh after seeing the normal toilets. Normal toilets were fine until thursday night. They stink.
2. The bus drops you off just outside campsite entrance. Closest town is a 15 minute drive so I really wouldn't advise going there Don't need to bring much food tbh. I brought none this year and I was fine. Only bring drinks if you are using it as mixer. Bring an empty bottle for filling up with water. There is filling points everywhere.
3. Chips are like £3 I think. Hotdog £4. Burgers £4.50 I think. The food is quite good and if you budget it well you can eat enough on a fair amount of money
