    Are my trainers ugly?
    Opinions sought please!

So...I was given this new pair of trainers as a gift. I really like colour generally and thought that they would be nice for exercising and going to the gym in...but I'm beginning to worry that they may be too yellow.

Are they ugly? (real opinions please...I'm not going to get upset if you say they're hideous )

Also, what do you wear with fluro yellow shoes? Neutral white, greys and black?

    Thanks for any feedback.

Hate the lime colour, it's really bright.

But it doesn't matter what you wear when you're working out at all.

If I could choose the colour, I wouldnt really pick them, not my favourite colour scheme... Then again if they are the most comfortable pair of trainers and I am using them for exercise then I don't care much what they look like....

Also, if you happen to give them to me for free, it's not like I'd throw them away or reject the offer

In short, yes. They're the type of trainers you'd say "ooh they look...comfortable."

I think all could be sorted with painting over the green though

That's what I thought! Beggars can't be choosers...even if the item is fluorescent.

Who knows, it may work as night-time protective gear.

I think that they look quite nice. There are only so many times that I can look at black trainers before feeling like we live in a totalitarian state.

Not so much beggars can't be choosers, more because it's simply free.

Well they're not my cup of tea, however I think they will do fine for gym shoes. As long as they are comfortable, I don't think it should matter.

They look good for the gym, although I am not a big fan of the green/yellow colour but its okay. My gym trainers are hideous if it makes you feel better.

They look alright tbh, I definitely wouldn't bat an eyelid or shriek in horror if I saw someone wearing them.

They're fine. On the bright side, if there's ever a blackout in the gym everyone will be able to find your shoes like a beacon of light.

:ahee: this is true. I also enjoyed the 'on the bright side' pun, which I'm sure was intended.
