    Ignorance is bliss, right?
Now let me preface this by saying i'm really drunk, i'm not a writer, I just have an odd mind. There's no point behind this, I just like messing about with these little life quotes people seem to be so fond of. I invite you to do the same. It would be nice to hear others, maybe

They say ignorance is bliss, right? So to remain blissful you need to remain ignorant to specific knowledge, but apparently knowledge is power, power comes from esoteric knowledge, so to hold power you need to be unhappy? But what if you hold knowledge but no power? Are you blissfully aware? Or unhappily ignorant? Or maybe both are wrong. Does Power come from having the knowledge to take without regard then remain blissfully unaware of other peoples disapproval, thus making the disapproving unhappy and ones who don’t care – Blissfully ignorant?

Socrates said: There is only one evil; ignorance. So the blissfully ignorant are the evil ones.

But you can be blissful without being ignorant can't you?

Power and knowledge are pretty good but you are disillusioned.
Power without knowledge is fun times but you risk being deposed.
Ignorance is bliss, but you risk being exploited.
Knowledge without power is impotence - see the comments section of newspapers, the graduate recruitment agencies.

Knowledge gives you the laser, the tool to cut through the farce, the cloud of disillusionment, it begs you astray but you have knowledge. Knowledge tells you not to follow it.
Yes I believe that is absolute.
    and that.
    impotence?

Knowledge gives you power, knowledge is not power but it is the tool which can give power.

The one with the most knowledge has the greatest capabilities. But one is not required to fulfill capabilities, that is why they are named as such.
