Re: 2012 Santander German Grand PrixEverytime they knock the flicks/vanes/cascades off the front wing it makes me cringe. Probably not as badly as the guys/girl who actually make the bits though!(Original post by Stringer987)
When you saw it in P3 did your heart sink aha

He isnt leaving(Original post by Conzy210)
Looks like it'll be another disappointing weekend for Hamilton, he always seems to have the pace all the way through the weekend until crunch time, it'll be interesting to see if he leaves McLaren this year if results don't pick up.

Re: 2012 Santander German Grand Prix
Great drives from Alonso and Schumacher doing the business in the wet once again.
Who knows what the race will turn out like, McLaren look super strong in the dry though could be a real challenge if they get a good start.
I think it will be Alonso vs Vettel for the win. -
I heard Mclaren are just behind lotus in race pace this weekend(Original post by Marc Fiorano)

Re: 2012 Santander German Grand Prix
Red Bull have been referred to the stewards by the FIA for a suspected breach of technical regulations with their engine mapping.

They seem to be forever the focal point of controversy this season. Hopefully nothing comes of it as I can't really see anyone else challenging Alonso this weekend. -
Re: 2012 Santander German Grand PrixNo further action to be taken as the rules aren't clear enough on the matter.(Original post by Kado)

Re: 2012 Santander German Grand Prix
Pretty bad, it looks Red Bull may be disqualified with one steward stating that he believes what they have done is illegal.
Interesting that 3 of the top 4 were the same as Silverstone.
Alonso in the bag if Red Bull are sent to the back, if not then Alonso vs Vettel.
The battle for 3rd should be interesting with Schumi, Webber, Mclarens and Kimi. -
