Re: Team GB vs BrazilCan he do the business during an overcast Sunday evening at the Ricoh...(Original post by diggy)
i'm looking forward to seeing neymar especially as there's so much hype around him its surreal now it's time to see what he can do -
Re: Team GB vs Brazil
Disgraceful team selection which has just isolated everyone outside of England and Wales even the Stuart Pearce is a disgraceful choice as Manager Allan McGregor, James Forrest, Jordan Rhodes, Steven Fletcher all could easily have played in that team and i'm sure we could have managed to fit a few from Northern Ireland aswell.

Re: Team GB vs Brazil'The Scottish Football Association, along with their Northern Irish counterparts, have taken no direct involvement with Team GB and have made it clear they do not want their players involved for fear of risking their countries' separate identities in world football.'(Original post by Shabalala)

EDIT2: 'The Football Association of Wales, along with the Scottish and Northern Irish associations, do not want a Team GB but the FAW had said it would not stop Welsh players from taking part.' - I guess the SFA may have blocked/did block Scottish players from taking part?Last edited by ForensicShoe; 20-07-2012 at 19:36. -
Re: Team GB vs BrazilThe Welsh FA said the same thing the players ignored them though and the players I mentioned have all expressed their desire to play for team GB.(Original post by ForensicShoe)

I'm going to the women's one on Wednesday in Cardiff - can't wait - get to see both matches XD !!! Other than GB (against NZ), I will be supporting Brazil (against Cameroon) in the other match. It will be awesome! -
Re: Team GB vs BrazilWere any Scotsmen considered in the preliminary list of players?(Original post by Shabalala)
The Welsh FA said the same thing the players ignored them though and the players I mentioned have all expressed their desire to play for team GB.
