Re: Printing Photographs
Yeah, I wouldn't go to the shops to do it.
I've been impressed by the quality produced with Photobox. They're not the best, but they're pretty damn good for their quality and price. If you're printing professionally, you may consider looking elsewhere, but I've had great results from Photobox all the same. I have a 30x20" print on my wall, and I also had a printed wedding album done by them. Both time it was good quality, especially the glossy poster print!
You'll be looking at about 12p per print, plus some P+P.Last edited by SillyEddy; 25-07-2012 at 08:41. -
Re: Printing Photographs
What you want is giclee (Gee-clay, its French) prints. They dont use plates or any other mechanical devices to do it, so there are no tiny dots. Just great tonality. They also use light fast inks which will stay true to their colour for 25 years
You can get this done online or perhaps somewhere in your nearest town -
Re: Printing Photographs
Second vote here for photobox, have used them a couple of times in the past for A3 sized prints to put on my wall. Good finish. As with pretty much everything you get what you paid for, I went for the more expensive pro paper and I'm very happy with the result. Haven't experienced their 6x4 prints though.
