All contradictions. A house edge, no matter how small, is still a house edge. Why would casinos offer a game that you can beat? I don't understand how anyone can be this stupid.
With Blackjack there are losers and winners, and most of the players are losers because they do not use basic strategy. If you use basic strategy you will make profits in the long run. It's all based on chance.

No you won't. You will just lose more slowly in the long run. Why would the casinos run games that are beatable? The only game casino game that is beatable is poker because it is a peer to peer game that the casino takes a cut of.

If your going to play blackjack you should play as few hands as possible so the variation is bigger. The more hands you play the higher the chance is of losing money. How do you not know this? Basic strategy is a way of reducing the house edge but the house edge still exists.

You can sell those Olympic 50 pence coins for 2-4 times more than they're worth on ebay. I'm trying to collect the whole set, and whilst i'm not serious enough about getting them all to go and buy them for more than they're worth, I happened to check ebay to see how much they sell for.

Go into a bank and ask for your £100 in 50p coins, take out all the Olympic themed coins and sell them

I've got 11 of the 29 so far just from checking my change and stuff, but i'm only doing it for personal pleasure, rather than to sell them haha
Not worth it really. They're selling on ebay for between 65p and £1.20 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/csc/i.html?_sa...mplete=1&rt=nc) take off ebay fees (10%) and you'll get between 52p and 96p per coin. Then take off paypal fees for the final sale price and postage and you're going to lose between 6p and 8p, meaning you'll either be at a loss of 4p or make just 88p. Is it really worth it? If you were selling a large number of them possibly but personally I wouldn't want that much effort for that little return.

With £100 you could easily buy a bulk batch of things to sell at car boot sales, if you're able to go to them.

Will I have to be a member of the bank? Could I do it at the post office? Do you literally just walk up there and ask for them to change this up for 50ps?
Most will want you to bank with them and for your bank card, think it might be something to do with preventing money laundering or something, I'm not sure. Just a guess.

Don't get £100 worth of 50s from one place lol.

Get some from the post office and some from the many banks on the high street.

They would laugh at you if you asked for £100 worth of 50s from one place.
No they won't, why would they? It's part of their job. I've gone in and got £300 of £1 coins and £100 of 50ps before. It was for a business but they didn't know that because they didn't ask me what it was for, just for my bank card.

Well, I dont think its that easy making money of them. Just saw a number of them on eBay and very few of them get bought. People are listing them for £0.99 and 60p postage. Nobody even buys those. So, I don't see how exactly this would get you much profit.

Only do it for personal pleasure because for making money it doesn't quite work.

Watch a buying and selling wholesale task from the apprentice and do what they do.

Import niche merchandise off DH gate or a similar site then sell for a higher price.

Not as easy as it sounds but their is money to be made if you know what your doing

I've actually noticed quite a few going for around £1.99, usually about 99p with £1 postage. Although £1.99 does seem to be the cut off price, none seem to go for more than that - and you can definitely count the postage in the final price because it costs next to nothing to actually send it, well if you already have stamps at home then it won't cost anything. As I said though, I haven't actually tried it myself, so don't actually know whether it's something that would work, it was just a suggestion really.

Whilst I understand what you're saying, the profit is very small, which is why I said you'd have to do it on a big scale and sell quite a few. There is still profit to be made. The Royal Mint sells them for £2.99 each!

From what i've seen they seem to sell better if you have them in a group. A group of 10 or 20 for example, or if you can all 29 of them! If you can do that then you could at least make double what they're worth.
I'm not suggesting somebody could get rich doing this, but if you made say £50-£60 from it in the next 2 months, that's not bad! Just as a little thing on the side.

Well, if you think that way. I doubt it though. A better option would be to buy tons of Panini Stickers and sell them on eBay where the buyers can select them. I sold them for over £300 this way (~35%-40% profit). But with the Euro 2012 having finished, the sales have gone down drastically...

You may lose in the long term, but in the short term you can easily win large amounts. The house edge while using basic strategy on Blackjack is 0.4% and there can even be a player advantage if you start card counting, which is what I do. It takes practice and can be difficult but it's worth it. I didn't say to play as many hands as possible? I would advise people who want to play on playing one hand only as you increase the risk if you bet with more hands. Sports betting and Blackjack is an easy way to make money if you do your research.

You can't card count any more. All online rooms continuous shuffle while all casinos automatic shuffle. Also it is very difficult and the edges are very small so you have to have a decent bankroll plus not get caught.

You said earlier on that in the long term you would show profit if playing basic strategy which is the opposite of the truth.

Are you honestly trying to tell me you can't cards anymore?

Read what I am saying. If you find a casino that doesn't continuous or automatic shuffle(not very many), you have a big bankroll to sustain the swings, you're are very quick and very good at arithmetic and you don't get caught then you can card count.

You have to keep in mind that whilst you may be paid £2 for a 50p coin the profit you receive is nothing like that -I am happy making 20p overall profit on one. The best profit I've ever made was £1.57 so you're quite unlikely to get rich doing this!

Use that £100. Make something or do a service that has demand. And sell your product/services at a cost higher than what it costs to try it.

E.g. If it costs £1 to make a toy, then sell it for £5 or something.
E.g. Buy a bucket and sponge for £1 and Wash cars for £5
    Etc

Significant emphasis on the 'demand'. Waste of £100 quid if you have no accessible target group

So, I have £100. How can I make it increase well between 2 weeks and 2 months? I hopefully want to have a good amount of cash from it before uni next term.

    Cheers in advance.

+rep for great, helpful and realistic answers!
Put simply: you can't. £100 isn't going to go anywhere. I'd just enjoy it to be honest.

I keep seeing questions on how to make a lot of money fast. Have you looked into Matchbetting?
