    I kinda want to be a muslim just to witness the prayers first hand.

    You don't have to be. Just go visit your local mosque I guess.

    In my local area a couple of the mosques do 'open days' for non-Muslims, the Police, the council, school kids etc.

    You just have to be clean and take your shoes off as you go in, as everybody else does. You can sit and observe. It might be polite to let them know what you're doing there.

    Cool I'll think about it. I'm not aware of any nearby mosques but I'll take the opportunity should it arise to me.
