    Newcastle or Sussex uni?
Hi everyone, I have recently recieved my IB results and had originally selected Newcastle as my firm and Sussex as my insurance choice on UCAS. Although I missed the offers for both by 1-2 points, after writing to both, I recieved offers to study pure economics from both so am very pleased However, I was wondering what anyone's thoughts are on the positives/negatives and people's experiences of both universities? Both seem to be more or less equal in terms of their 'rating' for economics-based courses and I know that one is a city uni and the other a campus but am struggling to make up my mind Thanks in advanced!

Having spent quite a lot of time in Newcastle (I have family there) and visited an open day i'd say go for Newcastle, it's a really nice city and looks like a very fun place to be a student. It's cheap as well and there's tonnes to do.
