Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. Apparently
Just saw this:
http://www.bnp.org.uk/news/national/...racism-schools
And they seem to think that if you happen to know another language, it's somehow anti White
Personally, I think it makes sense to teach languages such as Arabic and Mandarin because countries that speak those languages will become major players in the future. That, and they're apparently some of the hardest languages to learn, so surely it would be better to know those languages? -
Re: Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. Apparently
I think the problem the BNP have is with the headteacher suggesting that white children do not have respect for the teachers.
Also, I went to this primary school! ^.^ I reckon its had pretty much the same amount of languages since the late 1990s at least.Last edited by Tesphena; 21-07-2012 at 15:43. -

'ohh!! lets let in loads of people from other countries and be really nice and allow them to integrate into our society without the fear of being racially abused or discriminated against

Re: Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. Apparently
Did anyone read the article?
They're saying that if the headteacher had instead said the same thing about any other culture, she'd have probably lost her job. Am I the only one who actually agrees with this point? I know it's the BNP and all, but sometimes they do have valid points. The actual comments that we have a problem with are - 'I only came here seven weeks ago, but already I can't believe the respect that parents and children show teachers and the teaching profession that maybe isn't there from white indigenous cultures" -
Re: Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. ApparentlyAt my school where there are a lot of Asian students the teachers often make sweeping comments about the behaivoir of them. The same happens with us English students. It happens simply because we behave noticably differently so some comments about problems are best directed at the "race" (can't find a better word) it is most likely to affect/be caused by.(Original post by Naarim)

Re: Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. ApparentlyThis is actually completely different from anything said in the article. What are you reading? The article is nothing to do about language, but rather complaining about the head teacher who said that white people don't respect teachers as much as minorities.(Original post by de_monies)

Re: Knowing more than one language is "Anti White".. Apparently
loads of white people speak other languages than english- welsh, polish and that tinker language, the bnp are an embarrassment and annoy people like me who have genuine concerns about immigration and the negative cultural problems its brought without being an ignorant fool
on the other hand im annoyed at white people being called racist, we are a world minority by 19% and will diminish even more so, we are the minority that should be scared of subjugation, extermination and genocide not anyone else (no disrespect to any other race, i believe everyone should get along and for the most part they do)Last edited by badcheesecrispy; 22-07-2012 at 23:01.
