    Insanity Challenge!
I have decided to take the Insanity 2 month challenge and stick with it for at least the first month.

In the past I have tried many different workout vids but none compare to the intensity of Insanity.

    I will start this Monday.
    Start: 72.5kg approx
    Goal: Insane fitness!

    Day 1
    Fitness Test
    Spoiler:
    Show

    Switch kicks 85
    Power jacks 47
    Power knees 55
    Power jumps 30
    Globe jumps 7
    Suicide jumps 15
    Push up jacks 7
    Low plank oblique 28

I will keep a log of reps and workouts completed.

Please post if you've attempted/completed it.

I've never tried anything like this, but this thread caught my eye because I've seen the advert for this so many times. If you watch the people in the adverts, they seem to bulk up ridiculously quick.

I tend to look at real reviews posted on the internet, so be sure to keep us updated. Is the diet really strict? And good luck

Omg I really want to try this, I've heard so many good things about it but I'm just so unfit right now I'd probably die if I tried it! Maybe when I go back to uni and can get back into the gym etc. I'll give it a shot.

I'm really lame at sticking to diets, so I'll just eat as clean as possible.. but im only human (with a sweet tooth).

The diet recommends like 4 meals a day you wouldnt starve on it

The exercise program I am following is pretty intense and you have to have pretty good fitness to keep it up for 8 weeks which is what i'm doing. At the end of it, my fitness will be pretty insane.

Check it out and follow it (perfect if you want something for 2 months), if you like the look of it

Completed my first day of insanity today (the fitness test).. it was crazy, as expected.
    I sweated buckets!
Push up jacks were one of the hardest movements as it was basically a pushup, a skill my body hasn't mastered yet.
Particularly disappointed on my low plank oblique performance. I think I could have done better if I wasn't slipping in my socks (note to self wear trainers!)

    Personal effort: 7/10
Diet: I don't wana get caught up counting calories, but so far haven't eaten anything too naughty.

Your program does indeed seem pretty intense! I'll be following to see how you progress

This looks pretty interesting, I think I'm going to try it out when I get back to University. I'm hesitant about buying the challenge outright though, if I can buy the DVD's in say three separate bundles I think I'd definitely try it out then.

    Day 2!

Today was the plymetric cardio session which was only about 40mins.

The warm up has been wrongly named I'm sure... was intense and about 10mins. I think did about 75% of it.

Still can't do proper push ups (girly ones ftw)

    Effort 6.5/10

    Mood:

Went away for a few days and missed 3 workouts. Somehow I have managed to get to 75 again???
Surely so much weight gain is impossible. I wasnt eating particularly healthy but i didnt just sit on my ass all the time.

Also I'm feeling as if Insanity might be too high impact for me, shins hurt. Considering reverting to old favourites...

If you've been making an effort o control your diet from the start of the routine, then the blip of the last weight is likely water weight. If so, it'll come off as quickly as it came on.

    Also, good luck
