About a week or two. It mostly consisted of online mock theory tests and hazard perception clips. I paid for no studying material whatsoever and I still passed, which isn't me being arrogant but just goes to show that you don't have to shell out your hard earned cash to be successful. And lots of people are running around fretting because the organisation that publish the theory tests (DSA) no longer publish that actual questions. But to me it doesn't matter because there are only so much type of questions they can ask you and all they can do for the most part is change up the wording to confuse you.

I passed mine last Wednesday, and started preparing for it on the Sunday before (3 days revision)
Best advice I could give you is to get the 2012 theory test kit - most questions I got were exactly the same so I knew the answer before even finishing reading the question!
