    GC-MS and its uses.
For anyone who has done/is doing A2 Chemistry (OCR A).. I have a small question. I'm currently doing my notes in time for September as we've covered a few topics, but I'm just wondering, how much detail do you have to go into when talking about GC-MS and its uses in the exam? Or are the questions normally just asking for us to list them?

Usually the questions just ask to outline what they do so you usually say that GC separates the components and MS analyses them and then data gathered is compared to known values
