    what to do?
hey guys, i'm new to this forum.
so i attend an ib school in ontario, canada, and recently i've taken my french b sl exam. after patiently waiting for my results, i found out that i got a 5. however, from doing all the practice exams and my orals, which were on average a 24/30, i thought i was able to get a 6. now i'm slightly worried about whether i should continue ib or not. i've already gotten a 5 in french, how many more 5s can i still risk having? i don't want to end up missing on the applications of a uni program that i would get if i were to have taken the academic program.
my other subjects this upcoming year are:
    HL English
    HL Econ
    HL Math
    SL Chemistry
    SL Biology

i'm relatively strong in economics and i'm decent at chemistry and biology (as in middle of the pack). i'm worried about HL english and HL math though, because i've heard that they're so hard that it's hard to even get a 5, and i relatively weak in english. The thing about HL Math is that i performed really poorly on my first portfolio (11/20).

the university programs i want to get into are the math-business joint program at Waterloo-Laurier, Queen's Commerce/Western Ivey, Actuarial Sciences (Math) at Waterloo/Western

    Any pointers?

None of those universities need HL Math. Drop it down to SL if possible.

English/economics are irritating and unpredictable due to their subjective nature. If you get your head down with science and maths you should be fine.
