Sorry, not sure about the two unis you mentioned and don't know where you're applying, but from my own experience: Bristol have optional talks and tours on interview days, your interview is either AM or PM and you can go on one of two tours, depending on timings etc. RVC includes talks and tours as you're there all morning (or afternoon), because of the way the interviews are organised. Cambridge does not include tours, but generally they don't mind you wandering round the colleges on interview day, and do a great 'offer holders day' post interview. Don't know about Nottingham as I didn't get an interview! However as it all on one campus I imagine they would do tours (feel free to correct me anyone!)
Hope this helps a bit! Good luck with your application

yeah, i thought it might be just different colleges doing different things, but the vet students giving the tour weren't from the college i applied to, and there were applicants from other colleges on the same tour so it seemed quite general? maybe it was just colleges that have their vet interviews on the same day(s)...

    don't worry about the neg!

I had a tour of Nottingham when I had my interview there! I saw thing's I didn't see on the open day but it was a lot more brief/rushed!
