Go for the best education you can get?
Ill be going to university in September and i will no doubt exceed my offer. Do you think its worth the hassle of going through adjustment to get into a better university?
The course offer is ABB but i worked really hard this year and i will probably be getting AAA or even A*AA if I'm lucky. The Subject I'm interested in is Microbiology.
In your opinion if i get better grades, is it worth trying to get into the best possible university i can? -
Re: Go for the best education you can get?
how do you define 'best possible university'? one which is higher placed on ambiguous league tables? one which was established 10 yrs prior to another? go wherever you feel you will be happiest at and don't be brainwashed by the whole prestige bull - the only time it will ever matter is if you want to go into IB or law

If there's somewhere that you would rather go to, that you think you can go into, then it's definitely worth a few hours/days hassle to improve you experience for the next few years!
As above said though, go where you'd be happiest. Not where has the best reputation.
