When should I apply for the student loan?
I've had a look at the application there's only space for one course.
I won't know until mid August which university either my firm or insurance which one I'm going to and you have to put down the address and course and start date etc.

Should I wait until mid-august when I know which course I'll be taking and then apply immediately or apply now but make two applications then whichever one I go to will get the loan.

Apply now or wait until mid august?

Nooooo apply now and put your first choice down, the sooner the better!
If you get your insurance its easy to change, you literally go on the website and change it

You can apply even if you don't know your firm or insurance and then change it online when you need too.

I'm applying as EU loan form and I think it's done by sending it. I can't find a online application .
Or maybe it's there I can't find it.

it says this somewhere on a site. "If you are an EU student, and applying through UCAS, they will send you an application form for a tuition fee loan when you are offered a place on a course."

I'm not sure if that means I need to send the form when I get my place. Which will be Aug 15th.

Apply ASAP, you should have applied already tbh. The SLC take a long time to process applications, sometimes many months and you will need the money. I applied as soon as I received offers in March. You can change you application later if necessary, but they know that offers are still conditional at this stage and the inconvenience of having to change your application will be nothing compared to the difficulty of not having a loan for your first term.

Oh so will I just put in two applications then the other will just become void?
Or just do my firm choice and then ring up if I'm in my insurance? As it's all by papers.

I do have enough to kind of pay for the uni but not enough with living expenses so it'll still work out to cost a lot.

Oh yeah and you know the placement part of the form. Do you just blank I assume we get a new application each year?

    Is the application yearly??
It asks me to put an amount , do I just put in 8500 as thats the cost of the year or the total of the 4 years?

You put in one application, which will be for your firm choice. Then, if you miss your firm, you have to contact them and tell them what university you are going to.
Definitely apply now! You should have applied months ago unfortunately, the deadline is well gone so you might not get your loan on time. However the sooner you get it in the sooner into term you should get the loan.

Do you think I should ring up before sending to make sure I can still apply?
