    Sports village
Hi can anyone tell me what the sports village gym is like?
I want to know if they have free weights, including olympic bars and plates, squat racks etc.
    Thank you!

There is a humongous David Lloyd close to the De Havilland Campus: http://www.davidlloyd.co.uk/home/clubs/hatfield

As you probably know, you'll pay significantly more though.

Hmm seems interesting, to be honest all I need is a barbell and a squat rack. I've spoken to a current Herts student who said that the Sports Village gym is always busy, with guys just pumping up or something¬_¬?

Do you know if they have any squat racks and free weights at all?

    Thank you btw

Yeah, all the weightlifting stuff is in front of a window and especially during term time I always see loads of guys doing their thing.

They definitely have loads of free weights, I assume they also have squat racks since its a fairly 'basic' thing for weightlifting in a gym but if I get the chance I'll take some pics down the sports village.
