So i have a conditional offer for Liverpool in September, pretty excited to start now, (providing i get in ofc.) My friends seem to be pretty clued up at what their unis do during freshers week, but i literally don't have a clue about Liverpool ^^, does anyone know or have been through it ? Is it a good week? What kind of things is there ?!

Brilliant week. You will love it. I can't wait for my 3rd freshers week their in September. Concert Square is JAMMED! Plus everything is ridiculously cheap. Most places do like £1 entry and £1 drinks. The uni also hosts several things during that week including a stand up comedy act. Last year we had a guest appearance from John Bishop.

And i don't know if that question was aimed at me sshah210, but first choice Carnatic, Dale Hall and seconed Greenbank, Derby and Rathbone, youuu?

i need AAB to study accounting && finance, i reckon i got like ABB though so im gonna phone em up on results day and just beg lmaoo, Its annoying how long the waits been to find out if im in or not!

Ooohh sounds hard! Ahhh well hopefully you will have got it anyway, but if not they will probably let you in right? we've got quiet a good year for it i reckon with less applicants and stuff! yeh the worst i would have done is ABB so hopefully i'll still get in aha
& even with BBB if you need ABB to get in you've got a good chance i think

idk, the course requierments are AAB for everyone else so its already lowered for me, and i was speaking to this girl on my interview day, that did maths biology and chemistry, and she got ABB last year, and they didn't let her in as her offer was AAB, but her subjects are much better than mine (bio,psy,rs) sooo the comps pretty stiff on mine! damn

Ahh i know, how wierd is that? Me too, I'm scared too though, im such a pussy haha! It should be a mont week if i like the people im with though!

Nottingham trent ha, only applied to those unis cuz i know the nightlifes good lmao whats yours?

I put derby an rathbone down as my first an second choice cuz it looked the best one,

Ahh i went to look at trent! I went with my friend but she was looking at law, and i was looking at a science course, she like fell in love with it and said it was modern and amazing and loooked mint, but the science but was in a diffrent place, and was the most gross campus bit thing ever! have you been to look around to make sure your in the good bit!?

Glasgow, as its rare that anywhere offers my course, and the nightlife in glasgow is amazing - its abit far though, and its a four year course, sooo im hoping to not have to go! But it asks for ABB too, the only diffrence is that the A doesn't have to be in biology, so there is still a chance I could be looking at clearing! fs! im such a nob! aha

hahaa, idk, i don't even remember what it was like, my friend thats there last year is in the place i put first and loves it, said its the best place for the nightlife, and then after that i just pciked what looks best ^^

I just read about it and it just seems like the UMS marks they've used for years? Nothing drastic, just that the grade boundaries change so that they get roughly the same amount of people getting the top, middle and bottom grades.
