Yes I know this is pretty sad, but hey, no harm done. I don't have any real friends that I see on a regular basis and it would be nice to have a couple new people to talk to. About me - I'm a 19 year old girl living in South London, and I attend university. I don't know how I can make new friends because I know most people meet their best friends through school, and I've obviously already lost that chance :/ Any interest/help would be lovely!

Aww havent you made any friends at uni? I know how you feel though, its tough cos everyone has made really good friends but then i come across a lot of two faced people so i kinda give up lol.

Yes, but they mostly live pretty far away, and also, the ones who live close already have their own friends , or they're working and stuff so I can't really see them that much

If you're at university just join a society for whatever your hobbies are! I don't have many close friends at uni either, just a group of people that I have an unspoken agreement to get drunk a lot together. When uni's over we'll probably go our seperate ways. You're title is misleading, I thought you were trying to make TSR buddies ^^

Where to make friends = with your co-workers ( if you have a job ), societies join a handful and be active i.e. attend, volunteering, seminars, halls, being friends with other peoples friends ( maybe )
Key is to get yourself out there and be open as you cant just sit around just hoping for friends and sadly time it wont happen over night give it a few weeks

Its easy to make friends with coworkers as they have to talk to you. Yesterday me and one other girl turned up for a shift only to find out we werent working so she asked me if i wanted to go for a walk as she didnt want to go home yet and neither did i. I felt like i got to know her pretty well and we exchanged numbers and i told her to message me when shes next working and hopefully we'll get some shifts together and have a laugh whilst working.
