Nowhere near top 10 obviously. We'll have to give gold medals to potentially dangerous countries like China and Russia to keep the peace.

Though I hope will do well, it's not really feasible for us to come first, we're such a tiny island, the chances of us beating USA for China are quite slim.

I would say fifth. We did very well in Beijing but other countries have since invested in sport in their own country so there will be more competition. In addition we will not perform well in cycling because they are very tired after tour de france (which was awesome) and each country can only put one competitor into each event unlike in beijing.

Lets bloody hope that we can beat the ruskies though!

I don't understand why people are referring to China becoming the worlds superpower as "taking over the world" .. Does that mean the USA has currently taken it over?

And we have just stayed still with our development?

And with regards to the cycling the cyclists will be more than fit for the Olympics they do around 50 000km a year they still ride on their rest days during the tour.

I am going with third place china and USA aren't catchable at the moment Australia and Russia will be tough to beat but with home advantage I fancy our team to do well!
