    Palma
    Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone's been with friends to Palma Mallorca? I've been many times with my family but obviously its a completely different type of holiday and I was younger so didn't experience the nightlife. I just thought as I know the area well and I could always take a bus to Magaluf for a night or 2 with my mates if we want a big party night, but I'm just wondering if any students have been to the Palma area, and how the nightlife is and what things there are to do!

    Re: Palma
Palma is a nice, reasonably sized Spanish city. The nightlife is better there than in Magaluf (obviously 'better' is subjective, but in this case I mean 'authentic, non-touristy, not solely 18 year old English tourists) nightlife. It's a university city so there is a lot going on. But the nightlife is pitched either at the moneyed yachting crowd or Spanish university students...not boozed-up British kids on their first holiday without parents. It's quick, cheap and easy to get to Magaluf from the city centre.
