    Lower voice?
I'm 16 and have an average voice for a male although I'd like it to be lower mainly because I enjoy listening to lower voices myself. Sounds fairly strange but I've heard that vocal chords are one of the most malleable parts of your body. Mainly though I'm embarassed because my laugh is high pitched, almost on par with a girl's voice.

Does anyone have any idea how I can lower the pitch of my voice?

    with age.
You'll experience a second voice change between 18-19 I think, but you can see a voice coach to lower the pitch/tone.

I know many people my age who have lower voices, so even if I have another change I doubt it will be drastic enough.

Are there any cheaper-home practice methods I can use? I doubt my need is dire enough for a voice couch and I don't have the funds anyway

Man up and stop giving a rat's ass. Completely trivial matter.

Watch Christian Bale speak as Batman. Then you'll get the idea...

I have a highish voice, and I've notice my voice is changing to a deeper voice.

No, it'll be coarser, not deeper. I heard a smoker with a high voice once. I can't say it was attractive at all.

Just wait until you've fully completed puberty and then if it still bothers you see a voice coach? I bet that you dislike your voice more than anyone else does, so just stop worrying about it, it's not a huge issue.

If your voice hasn't broken yet it will 100% get deeper with age. And a lot of people have high pitched laughs.

It will get deeper with age. If you want to imitate a deeper voice right now, try speaking slower. I've always been embarrassed about my voice being so deep, so I've always tried to lighten my voice. But recently I've realised I don't care how people view my voice, and neither should you.

Unless you are female, deeper voice is always a plus (in my opinion).

The best voices to listen to (i.e. always feature on radio) are baritone so extremely low.

Deep voices on women are sexy! Also I've seen studies suggesting that women with deeper voices get taken more seriously and tend to be more successful.

Listen to female news readers on radio 4 and the like, they tend to have deeper voices.

And just generally I think lower pitched female voices are nicer to listen to.
