I was chatting with my freinds over the weekend, and it seems no one is wearing thongs!! Have we all fallen out with them, or is it now that boxers and some of the briefs are more comfortable.

I don't really see the point in wearing a thong

They're just not very practical I guess.

only wear a thong if you don't want a VPL on a dress or something, they are so uncomfortable and i don't think they look nice at all.

I must admit I prefer someting looser fitting under a skirt or dress, like briefs. If I don't want a VPL under something tight fitting, I'll wear a thong or g-string or go commando.

Or many girls now have flabby asses from being overweight and doing no exercise and a thong would look terrible.

I still wear them? but I also wear french knickers and briefs to.

Bascially I wear anything apart from boxers or big granny pants

It's mostly middle-aged women who think they are still in their twenties and wear them with low-rise jeans, from my observations. Not a pretty sight.

I really dont get how anyone can say they're uncomfortable. Once you get used to them you dont really feel the back bit much any more.
If you're wearing a tight skirt or dress you need to wear a thong, unless obviously you're flabby.

Id say wearing briefs / frilly knickers feels uncomfortable if you have tights on with a tight dress/skirt then a thong makes my bum feel by far more comfy.

I think it is the same with guys and boxers. For ages all guys just wore boxers but they are not as popular now and more and more guys are moving back to underpants because they are more comfy

I'm a girl and have thongs and briefs. I prefer thongs. I'm guessing most women prefer to wear briefs/boxers/French knickers when on their period for that added feeling of security, and if you wear sanitary towels they are the obvious option. Think you can get sanitary towels for thongs but I would not trust them at all. If I'm wearing a skirt, no matter how long it is, (maxi skirt) I wear proper pants. Wearing a thong underneath a skirt makes you feel naked. I don't wear bodycon skirts and dresses anymore, but they need to be worn with a thong or those knickers that claim to give you no VPL. If I wear proper pants with skinny jeans I don't get VPL so I'll wear whatever with my skinny jeans. If I wear short shorts then I'll probably wear proper pants, especially if they're quite loose. I prefer thongs because somehow a constant and proper wedgie is way more preferable to the feeling of your pants slipping across your butt cheek every five minutes and you having to yank them back into place. Though I hear they are bad for your health and amongst other things can increase the risk of thrush.

The choice for girls sounds a lot more complicated than for lads! And what do you prefer on a guy, boxers or underpants or does it not matter?
