Previously achieved UCAS points!
I have just finished my third year at sixth form, to boost my UCAS points, as a result of me not achieving enough points in my first two years. I'm just wondering if, when results day comes and details are sent to universities, both this years results/points and the results/points from my first two years merged and sent together automatically?
If this is not the case and only this years results are sent automatically, how do I go about showing the university that I already have previous points? I'm just a bit worried that they will only make their decision on what I achieve this year.
I hope you understand my questions and can help me out
Thank you, Jason. -
Re: Previously achieved UCAS points!Assuming that you sat your exams at the same centre as last time, the exams officers will have ensured that your details are all matched up and the grades calculated correctly. There's a number they use to identify you. If you took your exams elsewhere, the exams officer at the new centre would have asked you for your details to do the same.(Original post by jaskin1992)

Are you retaking the same courses or taking new courses
If you are retaking then the best modules from either year will be combined to give the best result (assuming that you and your exams officer have followed appropriate procedures)
If these are new courses then I would assume that the previous results are already with the universities ... as you would have put them on UCAS ... if this is the case then does your offer include last year's courses
