Re: The guardian hit the nail on the headIt's far rarer in Punjabi and indeed Sindhi and Pashtun communities than it is in Kashmiri ones. Regardless you should ask me not run off on a tangent which may well not be true and indeed is not true.(Original post by Elipsis)
Yeah, like thinking that when over half of Pakistanis marry their cousins, thinking that you are more than likely to too. Silly me... Whether or not she wears a burkha I guess is down to you. Your religion isn't that big on female free will, is it now?
My religion is big on free will and in relation to my wife, she'll be an independent person who will make her own choices as to what to wear and what not to wear.Last edited by Inzamam99; 24-07-2012 at 20:35. -

4:34 -Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.
Your religion is fundamentally against free will. Stop confusing it with Christianity, it's just embaressing. Your religion gives you such little free will that if you chose to leave in a country that actually followed Sharia you would be killed, just as your 'holy book' says you should be. Some free will you have there. Your free will ends where Mohammed's made up rules begin sunshine. Be honest with yourself, if you left Islam your family would forsake you, and so would most of your friends. You'd probably end up being spat on in your street. Many apostates in the UK have had their windows bricked in, and have had to relocate.Last edited by Elipsis; 24-07-2012 at 20:52. -
Re: The guardian hit the nail on the head1) The rapists in the Rochdale case didn't exclusively target White girls. "He repeatedly raped an Asian girl over many years."(Original post by Zürich)
The Pakistani men in the Rochdale case targeted exclusively white girls, a racist act, whereas the scumbags in the new case were 'just' pedophiles. There was no racist element.
2) I'm not sure if you are actually interested in discovering why more victims are White than Asian or whether you just want to propagate a narrative that suits you, but I'll explain it anyway. Whites are more likely to be victims of sexual assault and in fact almost every crime simply because they make up the majority of the population. This compounded by the fact that children from lone parent households and those in care are more at risk of sexual abuse. Children in local authority care are more than four times as likely to face sexual exploitation than those who are not. Statistically Asians are the least likely to come from lone parent households, but White people are almost twice as likely than Asians to be from a lone parent households. You also find a similar contrast with the number of Asian children looked after by local authorities. Of children who are looked after by local authorities 76% were white, whilst only 5% were Asian. -
Re: The guardian hit the nail on the headI use various Islamic lectures, scholars and debates between those of my faith and others to reinforce and validate my beliefs. I don't need you telling me what my religion does and does not entail thanks. I wouldn't be killed under Sharia and around 2 or 3 of my good friends are Muslims- none support the death penalty for apostasy and all support freedom of choice etc. "Your family would forsake you". Aww you and retarded assumptions.(Original post by Elipsis)

I really don't want to turn this into a Muslim vs. Christian battle but it's rather ironic that you accuse me of lacking free will due to the rules set down in my holy book.Last edited by Inzamam99; 24-07-2012 at 22:00.
