Re: 16 and never been in a relationship/been kissed
When I was 16 half my friends hadn't been kissed, don't worry about it! It's a lot more common than you'd think.
And when you really think about, 16 is still very young. Lots of relationships at that age don't last very long anyway, although you do get a few couples who've been together for a few years but even then, a lot of them break up. The majority of the long term couples at my school broke up eventually. So no, don't let yourself feel depressed because it feels like everyone else is "ahead" of you in some way, they're not. And don't get yourself into a relationship just for the sake of it because it won't make you feel any better, everyone I know who's done that has regretted it so you're better off biding your time. Don't concentrate on getting a boyfriend/girlfriend, just try being friendly to as many people as you can and focus on having fun and enjoying your youth and if something happens then great and if not then you've got plenty of friends and things to do so the fact that you're single won't even cross your mind, trust me.

Re: 16 and never been in a relationship/been kissedYou matured early then?(Original post by BabyfacedDom)
tbh when i was six i wish i was part of an internet forum so i could vent my sexual worries... i thought i was going to be a virgin forever -
I'm sixteen and I must say that this is not something to be down on, I realised after a drunken kiss that it's nothing special. I've never had a boyfriend and I have my mum saying "well there's worst looking girls than you, what are you doing wrong?" but that's because I'm picky with everything. 95% of my friends are couples and you have to sit with them at lunch and they have public displays of affection which in public repulsed me.
It taught me I'd rather wait to uni as the person will have similar interests

Re: 16 and never been in a relationship/been kissed
Mmm, kissing isn't all that.
I'm 24, and never had a relationship, but I've had a fling that lasted a day, and in my time, I've kissed around 3 girls. I didn't feel much from either of them to be fair. Why I don't know, but it just didn't do anything for me.
If you are expecting fireworks and the like, it just doesn't happen like thatLast edited by Kage; 28-07-2012 at 02:20. -
Re: 16 and never been in a relationship/been kissedI was 21 when I was kissed for the first time. I've still never had a boyfriend. Its really no big deal. Just relax and enjoy being a teenager.(Original post by _georgiee)
