Finding muscular men attractive?

Scroll to see replies

Muscles aren't something that is a must-have for me. Obviously not too skinny or not too fat. I'm not really fussed or mesmerised by six packs and that v thing is kind of creepy if its too defined.

Broad shoulders is all I love. As long as you can give me a comfortable hug without strangling me its cool !

I'd have thought the opposite, as if they felt they had to make up for something by getting massive, same way a lot of bodybuilders are below average height. No disrespect to anyone intended here, as I train myself, mainly for strength and general build though rather than getting a six pack or any of that.

Perhaps. But thats like saying a bit fat guy is fat because his cock is so huge he needn't try. Either way, I just said it made me think it was big. Like in porn I suppose, a big and smooth, like their bodies.

Besides, I thought that most women would like something like this?

I honestly don't find that body attractive at all lol.
I prefer something like this  :

Anything substantially over that is usually too much in my opinion.

I do find a nicely muscley back attractive though. the way you see the muscles when men move.yummy.

if anyone has seen Spartacus the starz series., the gladiators on there, particularly gannicus and crixus, are just dreamy!

This is the peak of attractive bodies in my opinion.

I thought most girls on TSR preferred skinny guys. Cause in this thread there are an unusual amount of girls not saying that.

When girls say they like skinny guys though they actually mean low BF and a reasonable amount of muscle, like the post a few above this one. I used to be about 10 stone at 6'4 and I can assure you the girls were anything but wet.
Yeah its not a biggie

Muscular men intimidate me... I like food too much to have a super toned body so would just feel like a chubster next to him. Just a normal bod, someone who takes care of themselves but doesn't live in the gym is far better!!

Erm, sort of, a lil more muscles though. Leaner.

But, this is just a dream man. I am happy with someone with an 'average' body and if I had to choose fatter or skinny, Id choose fatter. Though I do love a pair of life strong arms. That is highly attractive. They make me feel protected . And they're sexy, to me anyway. Note that I said strong, so I don't necessarily mean huge ones, just not weedy.

The v thing is weird. It make him look like some kind of jointed Ken doll.

That's pretty much purely the lighting. Most athletic guys have a similar thing but it doesn't show up that much. Actually pretty much all of these photos comes down to lighting. You'd be amazed how you can go from looking incredibly average to having a supermodel body with good lighting.

Fixed.

Nah I wasn't referring to that pic. That guy is just skinny with some tone. I meant some of the other posts who simply described what they're attracted to.

Anyway lol, like someone said earlier, most girls (not women) on TSR are students probably between the ages 16-23 so aren't exactly the most fair representation of females in this country. Obviously in real life most girls aren't as forgiving to skinny guys as most are on here. And they wouldn't describe a guy who only went to the gym for two months as "bulky" and "disgusting".

having some muscle can make someone more attractive but even the second picture here has more muscle than I would really like.

edit: or maybe he has a lower body fat making the muscles stand out more than I would like since he doesn't look actually that big

Not that big? I can guarantee that guy lifts considerably more then your average guy. Prob is dumbell pressing 40kg e.g. zyzz 'roid press
I think it's wholly unfair how guys are expected to put in 5x the effort to be "in shape" then women.

I meant not that big considering I was saying he was "to big" for my personal tastes not relative to the general population.. I thought that was clear:s-smilie:
sorry if it wasn't

Yep. I like tall and slim but with some muscle. Nothing like a bodybuilder or even close, and even having defined muscles like a six-pack isn't more attractive to me than just having a generally muscular build. Big guns is a turn on, whereas having a six pack means they spend too much time in the gym or that they try too hard, not that they're actually built or strong.

But that's just me and my specificity. It's not a must have, but rather a big bonus, and I'm more likely to be attracted to a skinny guy than a giant.

I'm sorry, but having big guns is more of a 'try hard' indicator than a six pack. Everyone has abdominal muscles that will look relatively defined if they're in good shape with a fairly low bodyfat percentage, but the guys with huge guns work out loads to get them.

I'd have thought being in general good health and pretty athletic would be a better turn on than having big guns and nothing else (meaning that they spend time in the gym purely working on their arms, probably for the sake of impressing someone).

It was me that said he wasn't that big, not boba.

He's not that big anyway, bigger than average but that doesn't make him big. Although that's down to your own interpretation of what big is, I guess.

I agree with you, it's off-putting :s-smilie:

So you're saying if he was infront of you, it'd be off putting? :K:

He is big, as in pre-roids big. Even possibly start of roids. It's pretty warped if you have to be on roids to be considered big, as in muscular, not fat.
