Good ISP - Fallowfield- 2nd year house

Hi moving in with a few mates next year into a house in Fallowfield and I need to sort out the internet connection.

I've been looking around different providers (BT, Virgin, etc.) and was wondering can anybody can recommend a good provider, ideally with the following requirements:

- at least 30mbs
- Unlimited (i.e. not limited to say 10gb a month)
- Ideally a 12 month contract, not 18

Virgin are good in that they offer a 9 month contract (I believe they are the only ones to do that), but they can be prone to bouts of downtime. They offer various speeds (up to 100mbs?) and I don't think they're limited.

I'm interested in the answer to this thread though, myself.

i only pay £12.50 pm for virgin through a friend with free install

As you want 30mbps+, fibre optic internet is your only option.

Your choices are:
BT infinity
Virgin media
Sky Fibre

I'd personally go for sky!

they are doubling the speed of all FTC connections and then adding a bit more.

I am on 50 atm, but getting doubled to 100 in october and getting an extra 20 for free.

btw, I dont work for virgin. But I know a good internet connection when I use one.
