    Wow.. 800,000km..... a testament to German engineering. I think Mercedes should give him a medal and sponsor his fuel as the very fact it is a Mercedes is a big enough advertisement.

    A very generous pension and Germans generally have huge amounts of savings with relatively low levels of debts.

    Yeah but I imagine that all his savings would have been worthless when the wall fell, along with any pension the USSR would have given him? I mean, I am assuming he is East German given that he only started once the wall fell.
