who spends money on small unnecessary things, which add up to a big amount over time? things like a coffee in the morning from Costa or Starbucks, or a sweet treat from the supermarket every time you go, or taking the bus when you could easily walk etc.

Yes, I don't want to think about how much I've spent on confectionery and other unnecessary comestibles over the years. :getmecoat:

Not really. It's amazing how closely you monitor your spending when you are practically broke.

Just last night, Sainsburys was doing an offer on Ben and Jerry's ice cream, £3 each. I spent just under £50. On top of that I've been buying Ben and Jerry's at full price for the last couple of months almost daily.

Nor is it good for my wallet.
I honestly think I'm addicted, I've been basically living on it for the last few months.

I seem to spend quite a lot of my money on novelty items and keyrings... don't know if it's just me, but they're impulse purchases!

Food, things for my cat sometimes too haha.

Oh and when clothes are on sale online I spend money too. I just bought a new dress which I did not need but wanted. (To be fair it was only £5 from House of Fraser, you can't even get that at Primark these days!).

Small bottles of diet coke/pepsi etc. Every time I leave the house I buy at least one and at £1.20-£1.80 each it soon adds up :O

    yeah...
food such as sushi, blueberries, pasties, more blueberries, coffee
    accessories, especially when on sale
magazines, they are a proper money drain
also lots of makeup and skin care products. i have about 2 dozen nail polishes, 4 lipsticks, 8 eyeliners...although i do use them all i still regret spending money

at the time its like ohhh its on sale, it doesnt cost much! or, ohh ill just treat myself to a magazine but then spending £2-5 every other days really adds up!!

The amount I spend on water is a joke considering I can get that **** free. I just drink alot of water and once I run out of a 500ml I usually cant find somewhere to refill it when I'm out. I also cant carry a 2l bottle with me as its not very practical.

    Yes. A million times, yes!

Ebay is the worst for small, impulse buys.
