    Software to capture web cam
Can anyone recommend a software to capture webcam in good quality for visual and audio?

I used to have a software similiar to Windows Movie Maker on my Acer laptop but that's disappeared somewhere.

Something that'll be easy to transfer to WMM to edit.

    Cheers

Why not just directly use Windows Movie Maker? It's now part of their 'Live' service, so it's called Windows Live Movie Maker, but it can be found on the Microsoft website for free or by googling.

There's an option to record from webcam in it.

The stock software provided for your webcam will generally have a recording suite built in. So work out who made the webcam (might show up as Acer in your case) and look on the start menu under all programs. There should be something like an 'Acer' dropdown, then 'webcam' from there.
