Hi there guys I've been wondering if there are fishes in the lake and are we allowed to go fishing there, anyone?

No fish in Keele lake but there are other fishing spots not too far away and there is also a Freshwater Fishing Society starting up this year.

Haha, have you actually been to Keele? I know Keele Hall is a massive 2 minute walk from the center of campus but really? There actually used to be around 5 lakes I think 20 or so years ago but they silted up and got filled in. There also used to be a ton of swans but they all disappeared around the same time I think, that's why old Keele stuff has swans on it like the old AU coat of arms. I heard there was plans to dig the lakes again but don't know if it's going to happen anymore...

Yeah went to some open day thing a while back but it was all tours and we didn't get to spend any time outdoors.

I take back what I said, walked around the lakes yesterday and there is definitely a large quanity of fish in one of Keele's lakes, possibly trout but I'm sure that you are not allowed to fish. As I said though, there are other spots close by.
